305 mm-long sampling tube has cutting tip and cutaway wall for inspection and removal of soil core. Sampling depth can be increased to 610 or 915 mm by attaching extension rod. Rods are marked at mid-point depth. Packaged disassembled in fiberboard carrying tube.
