Cryogenic labels for the identification of straws in IVF labs and in sperm, egg, embryo and cell banks. Withstand long-term storage in liquid phase and vapor phase liquid nitrogen (-196°C) and laboratory freezers (-20°C, -40°C, -80°C). Waterproof, weatherproof, wear and tear proof. Withstand multiple freeze-thaw cycles and dry-ice transportation.
The white part of the label can be printed with thermal transfer barcode printers while the transparent part securely laminates the printed data and protects against physical damage and short exposures to chemicals (such as alcohols, bleach, DMSO and detergents).
Withstand sterilization by Gamma irradiation (up to 50 KGy - tested).
Applications: Our Cryo StrawTag™ labels are used by private or hospital ART clinics (Assisted Reproductive Technology Clinics), infertility/fertility clinics, veterinarians, farms, animal breeders, zoos and research/clinical labs performing human or animal in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
Printing: Supplied in roll format on 1" and 3" cores to fit all major brands of thermal transfer barcode printers (Zebra, Sato, Intermec, Datamax O’Neil, Printronix, Monarch, Cognitive, selected models of Brady printers and others). Recommended ribbons: Resin and Wax-Resin.
