Chemteq Area Monitors are direct-read colorimetric indicators that indicate the presence of trace toxic chemicals in air. They are reliable and cost effect means for protection from exposure to toxic chemicals in the work place. The monitors are selective and highly sensitive to target chemicals with first noticeable color changes appear at or below OSHA permissible exposure limits (PEL).
The monitors are easy to use; simply attach the monitor to suitable location position on stack, duct, vent or flue where representative sample can be obtained. These monitors are also conveniently used in trucks and container used to transport chemicals. They operate at temperatures 4oC to 40oC (39oF to 104oF) and humidities 5% RH to 90%RH. The area monitors are 0.11 inch thick, 1.5 inch diameter.
