Replacements for Baker Spill Control Centers
8238D10 NEUTRASORB® is an indicating-type acid neutralizer powder. Each 7-pound (3.2-kilogram) container of NEUTRASORB neutralizes 5.5 pints (2.6 L) hydrobromic acid (48%), 13.4 pints (6.3 L) hydriodic acid (51%), 4.1 pints (1.9 L) hydrochloric acid (38%), 3.2 pints (1.5 L) nitric acid (71%), 1 pint (470 mL) phosphoric acid (87%), 1.4 pints (660 mL) sulfuric acid or 24.2 pints (11.5 L) sulfurous acid (9%). While 7 pounds of NEUTRASORB will neutralize these quantities of acids, its liquid absorption capacity is limited to 1 pint (470 mL). For use with those acids listed above; not for use with hydrofluoric acid or other highly reactive acids.
8238D30 SOLUSORB® is an adsorbent powder that quickly soaks up solvents, strongly binding the solvent to prevent rapid evaporation. Each 2.5-pound (1.1-kilogram) container sufficient for adsorbing 1/2 pint (235 mL) of solvent. 8238D80 Safety Equipment Set includes one pair of gloves, safety glasses, four scoops, sponge, five disposable bags with ties and disposable labels.
