Opacity Charts
Test pattern is a simple combination of black and white areas large enough for wide aperture reflectance measurements. Charts comply with all test methods specifying charts of such design.

Penopac Charts
Combine the test areas and functions of a penetration and an opacity chart. Can be considered as universal test charts for research, development and quality control.

Display Charts
Used for hiding power display and visual hiding power measurements. Diagonally striped pattern has a strong visual impact that emphasizes variations in film opacity.

Opacity-Display Charts
Combine large unbroken areas with a striped design. Unbroken areas permit photometric measurements and are suitable for visual color comparisons. Striped area is effective for hiding power comparisons and displays.

Used for measuring hiding power.

Spreading Rate Charts
Used for visual hiding power methods in which the paint is spread uniformly on a defined test area and the spreading rate calculated from the weight and density of the applied coating. Dimensions: 11 1/4" x 17 1/4"; design area: 1,000 cm2.

Brushout Cards
Used for informal brushout applications
Paper stock is almost twice as thick as regular chart paper for greater rigidity for more convenient handling.

Plain White Charts
Dimensions: Form WB - 7 5/8" x 11 1/4"; Form WH - 11 1/4" x 17 1/4".
Nominal thickness is 11 mils. Form WB has a 1/4" hole, centered 3/16" in from top edge.

Nominal thickness is 20 mm. Has a 1/4 " hole, centered 3 /1 6" in from top edge.

Unlacquered Test Charts
Used for test application of clear coatings and stains.

Sag and Leveling Test Charts
Provides an applicator path with a considerable length of black in the middle. By making test observations only over the black area, there is automatic compliance with instructions to ignore the leading and trailing edge of the drawdown.
