The dry air supply supplies particle free dry air on demand for the evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) system of a Chromatography system. The operation of the dry air supply is controlled by the Chromatography system software. A triggering signal is supplied to the dry air supply which in turn supplies the required DC power for the dry air supply.
The dry air supply improve lab safety by eliminating the need to replace air or nitrogen cylinders.
The dry air supply consists of a compressor pump, a particle filter, a moisture removal device, and associated connectors and tubing to connect to the Chromatography system.
