Clear Drying Chambers provide a convenient means to attach samples in flasks to a freeze dry system while providing visibility into the chamber during bulk drying.
Chambers are available in small and large sizes, with or without valves.
Chambers include clear acrylic cylinder, 1/2” thick clear acrylic top and bottom lids, vacuum break valve, gaskets and electrical pass through for transformer cords.
Product Shelves
Product shelves fit inside Dry Chambers to accommodate bulk samples, vials or serum bottles. Shelves are available in heated or unheated versions. Small unit consists of three 7.25” diameter aluminum shelves with 1/4” rims, large unit features three 10” diameter aluminum shelves with 1/4” rims, three stainless steel support rods, and nine stainless steel adjustable clamps.
Heated product shelves are available in the same sizes. They consist of three aluminum shelves with 1/2” rims, three stainless steel support rods, nine clips for shelf height adjustment, low voltage transformer with variable heat control from ambient to +40°C (+104°F), and three rubber feet.
Support Shelves
Attaches easily without tools to the sides of the FreeZone cabinet to provide support for large flasks attached to the drying chamber or manifold. Multiple rows of perforations on the sides of the FreeZone cabinet allow for height adjustment of the shelves.
Manifolds
Manifolds are for lyophilizing multiple quantities of small samples in serum bottles or smaller flasks. Complete with neoprene valves, which accommodate both 1/2” and 3/4” adapters. Manifolds come in 10 or 20 port sizes with support shelves and 4 or 20 port sizes without shelves.
48-Port Ampule Manifold, for lyophilizing multiple quantities of small samples in ampules. Made of Type 304 stainless steel, tree-type, with 48 each 1/4” od pipe stems, which accommodate gum rubber or Tygon® tubing fitting over any Labconco ampule. Tubing is not included.
Vacuum Pumps
Six models of rotary vane vacuum pumps are available to serve a range of applications.
General Purpose Direct Drive Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps are designed to withstand exposure to a variety of aqueous laboratory mixtures and offer high performance and portability. Compact pump fits easily into the cabinets of FreeZone console model freeze dry systems and CentriVap Mobile Systems.
Chemical-Resistant Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps are designed for use with acids and other harsh chemicals including TFA, TFA by-products, acetonitrile, HBe and HNO3 present in samples such as HPLC-prepared and peptide purified materials.
Tube Holders
Available in two versions. One accommodates up to 15 each 12 or 13 millimeter diameter tubes in an upright position inside a 750 mL or larger Fast-Freeze Flask or Lyph-Lock Flask. The second accommodates up to 30 each 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes in an upright position inside a 750 mL or larger Fast-Freeze Flask or Lyph-Lock Flask. Tubes and glassware are not included.
Glass Lids
Replace the acrylic lid that covers the collector chamber on any FreeZone Freeze Dry System. Recommended for applications involving solvents that attach acrylic. Includes rubber gasket. Small or large sizes available.
