The Master-α offers smooth sampling with easy disposal of sample from the edge. It features a streamlined body and the textured rubber grip makes it easy to handle and guards against the users body heat from preventing accurate measurements. All Master Series refractometers feature ATC and offer IP65 protection.
The Master-2α is a mid-range (measurement range Brix 28.0 to 62.0%) model. It is used for measuring a variety of sauces, soy sauce, and seasonings in liquid form as well as for low-sugar jams and spreads.
Master-3α is high-range model (measurement range Brix 58.0 to 90.0%) of the Master-α. The Master-3α is suited for use with high sugar content food products such as malt, honey, jam, marmalade, etc.
The Master-4α has a measuring range between the Master-2α and the Master-3α (measurement range Brix 45.0 to 82.0%). The Master-4α is for use with high concentration samples, such as condensed milk, concentrated fruit juice, jam, marmalade, liquid sugar, etc.
The Master-53α is wide range mode version (measurement range Brix 0.0 to 53.0%). The unit is capable of measuring various kinds of juice, coffee, and other beverages as well as processed foods such as sauces, ketchup, low calorie jams, etc. The measurement range becomes wider from existing N-50E, with the Master-5α it can be measured Brix 0.0 to 53.0%.
MASTER-53S: Opaque, inhomogeneous liquids can be difficult to get a clear boundary line with a conventional refractometer. This model is recommended for cream-based sauces, yogurt, mayonnaise, and various emulsions used in industrial processing.
