Applications include molecular biology, enzymatic tests, cell technology, immunological tests and general lab applications. Expanded temperature range allows user to perform applications such as DNA ligations. The program storage allows parameters to be stored for common or successive applications. Intermittent mixing may be programmed for applications such as enzyme reactions or DNA hybridizations. The exchangeable blocks allow unit to accommodate 24 tubes with 0.5 mL , 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL volumes. Built-in RS 232 interface allows documentation of operating parameters.
