Filter holders can also be used for aseptic sampling of liquids or gases at point-of-use or when samples must be collected and analyzed on site. The 25 mm filter is used to filter up to 50 mL of sample and the 47 mm filter can filter up to one liter depending on the viscosity of the sample. The polypropylene holder can withstand temperatures up to 121°C. The dual-support screen design allows for bidirectional sample flow. Three silicone O-rings help to prevent leaks with all membranes.
